Various Releases of NVIDIA Drivers Cause Crashes

Updated Jan 2nd, 2026

Problem

Periodically - sometimes multiple times a year, NVIDIA releases a driver that introduces defects that cause crashes in MAK Products. NIVIDA releases drivers frequently and often based on tweaks specific for new game releases. MAK frequently works with NVIDIA to resolve issues that impact our software. While we are not in a position to test every driver, we try to maintain a table of driver versions that are both known to work and known to be broken.

You can find it here NVIDIA Known Driver List . Please note that we are not in a position to fully test every driver and all functionality on every card.

Affected MAK ONE Products

All products that have a 3d graphics interface may be impacted: VR-Forces, VR-Vantage, and VR-Engage.

Severity

Critical - All 3D applications are affected for multiple versions

Platforms

All platforms. Both GForce and Quadro cards and drivers are impacted.

Solution

Please update to a known version of a driver that works. Older NVIDIA drivers can be downloaded from here: Official Drivers | NVIDIA
