Cannot Install Documentation
Cannot Install Documentation
Problem
Users cannot run the documentation installers because the filename includes ".doc.
", which some anti-virus software and browsers identify as an attempt to disguise the installer as a Word doc that is actually malware. In this case, it was simply intended as shorthand for "documentation".
Affected MAK ONE Products
VR-Vantage 3.1, VR-Forces 5.1, VR-Engage 2.1
Platforms
All
Solution
For those releases, rename the file. For example, change "doc
" to "docu
".
This problem was fixed for VR-Vantage 3.1.1, VR-Forces 5.1.1, VR-Engage 2.1.1, and later versions.
